Screening for the infection hepatitis C increased fivefold among baby boomers seen in primary care clinics the year following implementation of an EHR alert, according to a study published in Hepatology.

Boston Strategic Partners, a life sciences and healthcare consulting firm, plans to analyze clinical and administrative EHR data from nearly 60 million patients across more than 600 U.S. hospitals and health systems to research pneumonia hospitalizations.
