South Boston, Va.-based Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital, part of the Sentara Healthcare network, implemented an Epic EHR on Feb. 2, according to The Gazette Virginian.

Oklahoma University Medicine and its academic partner University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center signed a five-year, $200 million contract to install an Epic EHR, according to a Feb. 4 news release.

Cerner posted $5.7 billion in full-year revenue for 2019, up 6 percent from the previous year, according to the Kansas City, Mo.-based EHR vendor's Feb. 4 report.

Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie on Feb. 3 fired James Byrne, the VA deputy secretary who oversaw the department's EHR modernization effort, FedScoop reports.
