Connecticut is set to roll out its statewide health information exchange this fall after years of setbacks and faulty launches, Hartford Business Journal reported.

Avia, a Chicago-based digital health network for healthcare organizations, recently renewed and formed new partnerships with health systems including Geisinger and OSF HealthCare, according to an Oct. 14 news release. 

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense and U.S. Coast Guard linked up their joint health information exchange with CommonWell Health Alliance Oct. 9 to expand their network of providers.
