The state of California recently embarked on an ambitious endeavor. Using hundreds of millions of dollars in public funding, the nation's largest state plans to connect its hospitals and healthcare providers through a statewide health information exchange.

From diving further into precision medicine to creating an EHR virtual scribe, here are six partnerships Oracle Cerner, Epic, Athenahealth and Meditech have completed since June as reported by Becker's Hospital Review. 

Epic's revenue has grown double-digits every year for the last decade, including 13 percent in 2021, according to CB Insights and Forbes.
