Washington, D.C.-based Children’s National Hospital is transitioning to an Epic EHR system.
The switch is expected to be completed by mid-2027, according to a June 19 news release shared with Becker’s.
“The two-year project aims to improve access to critical clinical information, automate routine workflows and create a seamless digital experience that empowers families throughout their care journey,” Matt MacVey, executive vice president and chief digital and information officer at Children’s National, said in the press release.
At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
