Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health has been using Epic’s new Agent Factory, which creates and monitors agentic AI tools that reason, decide and act within workflows.

He pointed to a three-day Epic immersion at The Pearl innovation district in Charlotte focused on speeding up pharmacy verification for complex medications and cutting infusion chart prep time for pharmacists and nurses. The event generated four working prototypes slated to go live in July.
“Together, we’re advancing responsible, practical AI that fits naturally into clinical workflows, reduces friction, and gives clinicians back time to focus on what matters most: caring for patients and supporting one another,” Mr. Crowder wrote.
