DOD awards former McKesson Technologies $400M digital imaging contract

The U.S. Department of Defense awarded former McKesson Technologies, now Change Healthcare, a $400 million contract to supply and maintain the agency’s digital imaging network, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.

McKesson’s imaging business became part of Change Healthcare through a merger in March 2017. The merged entity was rebranded Change Healthcare.

Under the DOD contract, Change Healthcare will provide picture archiving and communications system products to manage diagnostic imaging throughout the Military Health System.

The DOD contract has a five-year base with an additional five-year option period.
