The program will be piloted at Santa Maria, Calif.-based Marin Regional Medical Center and Chandler (Ariz.) Regional Medical Center.

Through the program, a specifically trained team will work at each medical center to interact with expectant mothers. The team will utilize each patient’s specific preferences and needs to improve their overall care experience.

“We’re focused on caring for the whole person — mind, body and spirit — and on finding new ways to make the patient journey a better consumer experience,” said Dignity Health Chief Strategic Innovation Officer Rich Roth. “This unique blend of technology and human connection will improve the patient experience for mothers-to-be and their families.”
