Albuquerque, N.M.-based UNM Health System is building an app to help older adults track health changes over time.
The academic medical center is developing the app in concert with the New Mexico Health Care Authority and health IT vendor ScienceSoft, with a launch planned for the first quarter of 2026, according to a Dec. 1 news release.
The Live Well/Vive Bien ICOPE app will enable older adults to monitor their hearing, memory, mobility, nutrition and vision, get personalized care plans, and connect with healthcare providers and community resources. The software is being designed with a senior-friendly interface, bilingual support and HIPAA compliance.
