The new expansions into Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan and Texas mark 18 total state marketplaces offering an individual or family UnitedHealthcare plan, UnitedHealth Group said Oct. 27.
Plans include $0 copays on primary care, low-cost prescriptions, a $25 gift card for visiting a doctor, free fitness classes and discounts on Walgreens-brand health products.
“We’re including a number of benefits this year to create offerings designed to meet the needs of all individuals,” said Marcus Robinson, national vice president of individual exchange and ACA sales at UnitedHealthcare. “Whether someone is looking for low-cost prescriptions, wanting no-cost access to fitness classes, needing help managing a chronic condition, or searching for a more convenient way to connect with a provider, we’ve got you covered.”
