One study will compare text messaging-based interventions to outpatient care for young adult opiate abuse patients, according to a July 26 news release. Another will compare a cardiac rehabilitation telehealth program to in-person care.
“Facing a complex healthcare system and many care options, patients need reliable information to help them understand which care options will work best for them in their particular circumstances,” PCORI Executive Director Nakela Cook, MD said in the release.
