New York-Presbyterian Hospital the Star of a New ABC Documentary Series

An eight-part documentary series airing on ABC will chronicle life inside New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, providing a “raw and intimate look at life inside the most famous hospital in America’s largest city,” according to a news release.

An ABC News camera crew documented day-to-day life at Columbia and Weill Cornell medical centers, both part of New York-Presbyterian. The show, named “NY Med” will tell the stories of hospital physicians and staff, as well as the patients they care for. The series will also feature the hospital’s top physicians — including television personality and heart surgeon Mehmet Oz, MD, “Dr. Oz.”

NY Med is scheduled to premiere Tuesday, July 10 p.m. EST on ABC and will air Tuesday nights through Aug. 28.
