Health systems continue to partner with Big Tech on AI and digital health projects. Here are 11 collaborations Becker’s reported on in the past month:
1. Cleveland Clinic is opening two practices with Amazon One Medical to continue expanding primary care access in the market and learn more about the company’s digital innovations, Becker’s reported Sept. 26.
2. Columbia-based Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center has rolled out Microsoft’s DAX Copilot to about 1,000 physicians and advanced practice providers, saving them an estimated 3-5 minutes per note, a 66% reduction in documentation time, Becker’s reported Sept. 25.
3. Roanoke, Va.-based Carilion Clinic’s most innovative use of technology in the past year has been the deployment of Microsoft’s DAX ambient scribe, a health system leader told Becker’s for a Sept. 25 story.
4. Seattle Children’s has partnered with Google Cloud to develop Pathway Assistant, an AI-powered tool designed to help clinicians access critical medical information quicker, Becker’s reported Sept. 25.

10. Craig Albanese, MD, left Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Health System to join Kaiser Permanente after forging AI partnerships with Microsoft and Abridge, Becker’s reported Sept. 9.
11. Jeff Leek, vice president and chief data officer of Seattle-based Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, was named to the 2025 Time100 AI list Aug. 28 for his role in launching the Cancer AI Alliance with tech companies including Amazon Web Services, Google, Microsoft and Nvidia.
