The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT and six other groups will work together to develop a mobile app for patients to help manage diabetes.
Individuals with cell phones would be asked brief questions regarding their risk for diabetes, and users would respond with a text message. Users would then be connected to the resource for their need based on their answers.
