Lewiston-based Central Maine Healthcare continues to restore services 25 days after a cyber incident caused IT outages, WGME reported.
The three-hospital system brought back radiation treatments June 25 and has also prioritized reestablishing its retail pharmacy and outpatient diagnostic services, according to the June 26 story.
“Our information technology teams are moving swiftly toward full restoration of our systems and schedules,” Central Maine Healthcare said in a statement to the news outlet.
Central Maine Healthcare also stated that patients could soon be getting calls to confirm appointments, talk about lab or imaging results or reschedule elective procedures, per the story. The health system doesn’t know when IT systems will be fully reinstated.
