Although Shannon is home to nine pediatricians, there are instances where specialists like neonatologists or pediatric cardiologists are needed to help make a diagnosis or determine treatment options, Bryan Horner, Shannon’s president and CEO told the San Angelo Standard-Times.
The program, which is funded by Shannon’s Children’s Miracle Network, will also enable families to conference with Cook’s pediatric physicians and specialists.
