Colorado healthcare department awards Truven Health Analytics $86M services contract

The Colorado Department of Healthcare Policy and Financing has awarded Truven Health Analytics an $86 million contract for business intelligence and data management services.

The five-year base contract will result in a state- and enterprise-wide data warehouse. The data warehouse will collect and organize data from multiple sources and fully integrate Medicaid eligibility and claims data.

The new system will be designed to support the Colorado Medical Assistance and related programs.

Truven Health Analytics already has a substantial footprint in Colorado with more than 330 employees in Denver and 150 clients in the state.
