Of this cohort, 43,457 providers, or 75 percent, re-attested in 2012. Of those, 36,795 re-attested in 2013, meaning 64 percent of the 2011 attesters continued with the meaningful use program through 2013.
Additionally, 8,069 of those providers that attested in 2011 but did not attest in 2012 returned to the program and attested in 2013.
