Client Network Services nets new CMS contract

Health information technology company Client Network Services has been awarded a new five-year contract from CMS.

Client Network Services will continue to maintain CMS’ Encounter Data Processing System used in Medicare Advantage Part C claims, according to a July 25 press release. The Encounter system processes the analysis and collection of Medicare Advantage Part C claims. 

Client Network Services was first contracted to work on Encounter in 2012. Since then, the company has worked to transition the system to work within the Amazon Web Services cloud system, the release said.
