The 4.7 million-square-foot campus will consist of 10 office buildings, two data centers, a service center, training facility, conference center, daycare center and health clinic for employees. The project will run through 2025 and will generate approximately 4,500 construction jobs, according to Cerner.
The City of Kansas City has partnered with Cerner for the project, and Cerner will include 370,000 square feet of retail space that will include restaurants, stores and a hotel. In addition, Cerner is eligible for economic incentives from the Missouri Department of Economic Development if it meets job creation and investment criteria, according to a release.
