The hospital integrated Cerner’s CareAware Event Management alerting solution with Hospira’s Alarm Forwarding system.

Through the implementation, Sheridan Memorial clinicians receive alarm information from Hospira’s infusion system through CareAware. Medical professionals can now be alerted more quickly when patient assistance is needed.

“Maintaining our position as one of the most advanced intensive care units in the area is top priority,” said Charlotte Mather, RN. “This technology helps our caregivers stay connected and flag issues to the right person at the right time.”
