CDC taps Allscripts technology for nationwide healthcare surveys

The CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics, Division of Health Care Statistics has selected Allscripts to join the data technology and services team for its United States National Health Care Surveys.

The CDC will use Allscripts’ dbMotion Solution to collect, monitor, analyze and disseminate data on healthcare access, quality and cost in the country. The surveys include responses from healthcare providers in inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory and long-term care settings.

The dbMotion Solution is a part of the Allscripts CareInMotion population health platform. It enables clinical data aggregation from different technologies and EHRs.

The CDC’s contract with Allscripts is a blanket purchase agreement for a period of five years.
