Carolinas, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., received awards for 230 of its 900 clinic locations throughout North and South Carolina. Stage 7 is the highest level of EHR adoption in HIMSS standards and denotes an organization’s paperless environment and efficient use of an EHR. Approximately 6.2 percent of ambulatory clinics in the U.S. have received the award, according to a news release.
