Here are three things to know:
1. During the third quarter, blockchain transactions on apps totaled $2.03 billion.
2. Only 148 blockchain apps were launched throughout the quarter. This compares to the first half of 2019 when 164 blockchain apps were launched on a monthly basis, according to the report.
3. Of the transactions, around 88 percent were processed on the Ethereum blockchain.
