BlackBerry becomes HIMSS Analytics Certified Consultant

HIMSS Analytics named BlackBerry a certified consultant helping address digital infrastructure needs of healthcare organizations.

HIMSS Analytics Certified Consultants help organizations move through the stages of the "infrastructure adoption model," or INFRAM, a new maturity model to measure an organization's technical infrastructure. It is an eight-stage model, similar to the HIMSS Analytics Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model.

BlackBerry's cybersecurity experts are trained on the INFRAM. They can assess a healthcare organization's infrastructure architecture and help them achieve their desired INFRAM score.

BlackBerry is making headway into the healthcare arena. The company unveiled a blockchain solution targeted toward the healthcare industry Oct. 4, and it has plans to introduce an operating system for medical devices.
