The goal of the merger is to couple simplfyMD’s easy-to-use EHR aimed at physicians starting to move away from paper with Azalea Health’s suite of software that includes a more complete EHR and billing and practice management software to have a suitable product for a broader swath of physicians.
“This is simply a great fit,” said Baha Zeidan, founder and CEO of Azalea Health, in a news release. “With our combined skills, we’ll be able to offer expanded services and product options, as well as the tools and resources to help our customers with meeting their meaningful use and ICD-10 requirements.”
