PAI Health’s Personal Activity Intelligence program analyzes heart rate data gathered by wearable devices to produce a personalized weekly score that takes into account a user’s age, sex and fitness level, as well as the cardiovascular benefits of their daily activities. Users are encouraged to reach a weekly score of 100, which is achieved through varying levels of activity based on each individual user, and which has been linked to a lower risk of cardiovascular disease mortality.
As part of the AHA’s Center for Health Technology and Innovation Innovators Network, PAI Health will be able to scale out its digital heart health solution and collaborate with the AHA to further their shared goal of reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.
