Allscripts reaffirms FY2017 outlook despite $8.6M net loss in Q1

Chicago-based Allscripts released its 2017 first quarter financial results May 4.

Here are five things to know.

1. The company posted total revenue of $413.5 million, representing a 20 percent year-over-year increase.

2. Its bookings totaled $286 million, a 13 percent year-over-year growth.

3. Allscripts’ income from operations was $11.3 million, down from $11.9 million in the first quarter of 2016.

4. The company’s net loss hit $8.6 million, compared to the $2.1 million net income it reported in last year’s first quarter.

5. Allscripts reaffirmed its financial outlook for full-year 2017. The company expects its non-GAAP revenue for the year to sit between $1.71 billion and $1.74 billion.
