Allscripts hits milestone, exchanges 10M medical records via cloud

Allscripts eChart Courier has exchanged 10 million medical records since its launch in 2015.

The service, which is integrated within an Allscripts EHR, enables physician practices to automate electronic sharing of medical records with affiliated health plans. Allscripts eChart Courier encrypts and delivers records via cloud, which saves time and streamlines reimbursement, according to Allscripts.

There are 35,000 providers on the Allscripts eChart Courier service.
