UC San Diego Health has signed onto a 14-year collaboration with GE Healthcare to enhance its imaging capabilities.
The partnership, called the Care Alliance, will implement a suite of GE HealthCare technologies — including imaging systems such as X-ray, CT, PET/CT, PET/MR, SPECT/CT, MRI and nuclear medicine — as well as artificial intelligence and digital tools designed to optimize workflows and reduce wait times, according to an Oct. 16 news release shared with Becker’s.
The long-term collaboration also includes service support programs, advanced clinician training and integration of theranostic technologies to aid in early disease detection and treatment, particularly in cancer care.
At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
