Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health has selected a Toronto-based technology firm to help govern and monitor its growing portfolio of AI tools.

According to a Dec. 2 news release, Inova will implement Signal 1’s AI Management Platform to centralize oversight, governance and performance tracking of AI systems already in use or under review across the health system. The software offers visibility into all AI tools, automated monitoring with customizable alerts, ROI and impact tracking, and suggestions for improving generative AI models to meet local needs.

The move builds on Inova’s broader efforts in responsible innovation. The health system was the first in the U.S. to commit to The Joint Commission’s Responsible Use of Health Data criteria and is a member of the Coalition for Health AI.

The partnership is designed to support safer, more transparent use of AI while helping Inova scale its deployment of the technology across clinical and operational workflows.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
