Assort Health raised $120 million in Series C funding and is expanding its AI-powered patient access platform into health systems.
The funding round, led by Menlo Ventures, values the company at $1.2 billion and brings its total funding to more than $222 million, according to a June 24 news release.
The company said it is expanding into health systems ranging from community-based organizations to academic medical centers. Its AI platform automates patient access and administrative workflows, including scheduling, referrals, intake, medication refills, insurance eligibility, document processing and payments.
According to the company, the platform has processed more than 190 million patient interactions and is powered by a proprietary AI model designed to learn specialty care workflows and improve automation across deployments. Assort Health said revenue has grown 20-fold over the last 15 months.
Walnut Creek, Calif.-based John Muir Health is among the health systems partnering with Assort as it expands into the health system market.
