Manchester, Ky.-based AdventHealth Manchester will begin implementing virtual care smart rooms powered by HelloCare in fall 2025, with full rollout expected by 2026.
The virtual care smart rooms will allow patients to engage with care teams via secure video consultations and view health information on digital whiteboards. The system also supports features such as digital door signage, AI-enabled monitoring and remote rounding to enhance communication and safety for clinical teams, according to a Nov. 4 news release from Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth.
AdventHealth Manchester is among the first hospitals in its region to adopt this level of AI-powered inpatient technology, the release said.
