  • The dominant driver in the segment is “hearable” devices, which are expected to represent 50 percent of the AI-powered wearable market share.
  • In 2017, Apple is expected to lead the AI-powered hearable market, with 78 percent of the market share.
  • Other prominent types of AI-powered wearables include smartwatches (42 percent) and activity trackers (4 percent).
  • Although activity trackers represent a small share of the AI-powered wearable segment, they are poised to see 545 percent growth in 2017.
