Last July, Accretive Health lost a laptop computer containing unencrypted health data on patients from Fairview Health Services, based in Minneapolis, and North Memorial Care Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minn. The lawsuit alleges Accretive violated numerous state and federal health privacy laws.
