8 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were announced within the past week.

1. Chesapeake (Va.) Regional Medical Center selected Epic's EHR and plans to be live on the system in spring 2016.

2. Newport News, Va.-based Riverside Health System plans to implement Epic's EHR over the next couple of years.

3. The Washington state Department of Social and Health Services selected Cerner's EHR to digitize its records in preparation for the ICD-10 deadline.

4. Duncan (Okla.) Regional Hospital selected Merge Healthcare's cardiology management and real-time documentation solution to support the hospital's new cardiology program and cath lab.

5. Indianapolis-based Community Health Network selected Kyruus' ProviderMatch suite to match patients to the right providers.

6. Forest Park Medical Center's locations in San Antonio and Fort Worth, Texas, implemented the Mobile Heartbeat smartphone app to boost communications and improve workflow.

7. All the major hospitals in San Antonio are now linked on Healthcare Access San Antonio, the region's health information exchange.

8. Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare implemented Cerner's iCentra EHR at two hospitals and 24 clinics.
