8 NJ Hospitals Prepare to Share Medical Data Via Statewide Health Information Exchange

Eight New Jersey hospitals are going to share patient medical records via the Health-e-cITi-NJ, one of the state’s four health information exchanges that received federal funding, according to an NJBIZ report.

The participating hospitals include the following:
•    Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center in Secaucus
•    Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark
•    University Hospital in Newark
•    East Orange General Hospital in East Orange
•    St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark
•    St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson
•    Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City
•    Christ Hospital in Jersey City
