Its newly implemented EHR system is the same system installed at other hospitals in the Sisters of Mercy Health System, which St. John’s is a part of. The interoperable system allowed healthcare providers in neighboring areas to access St. John’s patients’ medical information upon patients’ transfers. St. John’s EHR system also enabled the hospital to set up its 60-bed mobile hospital and quickly re-establish communications.
