Here are four things to know.

1. In 2015, Practice Fusion added more than 5,000 new medical practices to its user network, bringing its total user base to nearly 30,000 monthly active practices. What’s more, Practice Fusion logs more than 5 million patient visits per month.

2. In November, Tom Langan was appointed permanent CEO of Practice Fusion. He had been serving as interim CEO since August after Ryan Howard, founder and former CEO, became chairman of the company. Additionally, Steve Filler was appointed COO and Octavia Petrovici was named senior vice president of product management in December.

3. The vendor launched native versions of its EHR in iOS and Android applications, meaning providers can access EHRs on tablets and smartphones with a user experience optimized for the operating system. “Practice Fusion is the only EHR available where providers have the ability to quickly and securely access their free EHR across multiple platforms,” Mr. Howard said in a statement. “This independence empowers providers by giving them the choice to use whichever device or platform that best helps them provide quality patient care.”

4. Practice Fusion reports a year-over-year revenue growth of more than 70 percent.
