Friday feel good: This dad fell asleep under his son's hospital crib

A dose of feel good to kick off the weekend.

What would you do if your loved one was in the hospital? This father wouldn't leave his young son's side — even while sleeping.

A photo of the father, Andre Palmer, sleeping under his son's crib went viral earlier this week, according to ABC News. The photo, which Mr. Palmer's wife Amy posted on Facebook July 5, has already gained more than 10,000 likes.

After suffering an asthma attack early Tuesday morning, the couple's toddler son, Andre Jesse (A.J.), was admitted to the hospital. Mr. Palmer worked the night shift and then came to the hospital.

Since his wife was sleeping in the only chair in the room, Mr. Palmer lay down beneath A.J.'s crib and conked out. "I had to take a picture because to [sp.] many [people], all they see is a man lying on the floor. To me I saw a man who worked all night, who could have went home to go to sleep ... who could have asked me to get up so he could lay [sp.] down. All this shows the amazing husband and father he is!!!" Ms. Palmer wrote in a comment on the Facebook photo.

A.J. has safely recovered and is home from the hospital, Ms. Palmer told ABC News.
