What matters most to health consumers, ranked

Financial stability is health consumers’ top priority, according to a survey from Denver-based Welltok, a consumer health software-as-a-service company.

The survey, titled “Consumer Health POV 2017,” comprised responses from 2,000 full-time U.S. employees across generations. Welltok, meQuilibrium, an online stress management platform, and nutrition platform Zipongo conducted the survey online during August.

Here are health consumers’ priorities, ranked by percentages.

1. Financial stability: 35 percent

2. Positive relationships: 29 percent

3. Healthy eating habits: 9 percent

4. Adequate sleep: 8 percent

5. Manageable stress levels: 7 percent

6. Manage an existing health condition: 7 percent

7. Appropriate level of physical activity: 5 percent
