Hospital, The Villages, Fla.-based UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital and multiple outpatient locations in the area. Ms. Long has been CEO of UF Health Central Florida for two years.

Lastly, Michael Holmes was named senior vice president and Greater Gainesville regional president, effective March 17. He was recently appointed to oversee Gainesville-based UF Health Shands inpatient and hospital-based outpatient facilities and the UF Health Ocala (Fla.) Neighborhood Hospital. Mr. Holmes currently serves as executive vice president and COO of Yale-New Haven (Conn.) Hospital.

Kerry Watson, interim CEO of UF Health St. Johns, will exit in June.

“I am confident this change recognizes the wide responsibilities of our leaders at a system level and will help ensure that we reflect the voices and experiences of faculty, community physicians and staff across the organization, as well as those we collaborate with in the community, leading to a more aligned and patient-centered UF Health focused on clinical excellence,” Stephen Motew, MD, president and system CEO of the UF Health clinical enterprise, said in the release.
