TruCode, CPSI partnership aims to improve EHR coding accuracy

Alpharetta, Ga.-based TruCode, a provider of medical coding software, collaborated with CPSI, a health IT vendor for community hospitals and post-acute care facilities, to improve coding accuracy and productivity.

Under the agreement, TruCode’s Encoder product will work with CPSI’s Evident and Healthland EHRs to provide coding references and information to medical coders.  

The companies said their goal is to decrease providers’ denied claims by providing immediately available coding information.
