Texas Health Resources posts $567M operating gain, 7.8% margin in 2025

Arlington-based Texas Health Resources reported an operating income of $567.1 million (7.8% operating margin) in 2025, up from an operating income of $409.2 million (6.2% margin) during the same period last year, according to its May 8 financial report.  

The system reported total operating revenue of $7.3 billion for the 12 months ended Dec. 31, up from $6.6 billion during the same period last year. Patient service revenue was $6.9 billion, up from $6.4 billion. 

Total operating expenses were $6.7 billion in 2025, up from $6.2 billion in 2024. Salaries, wages and employee benefits totaled $3.6 billion, up from  $3.4 billion. Supply expenses totaled $1.1 billion, up from $1 billion. 

Texas Health Resources reported a net income of $1.3 billion in 2025, up from $882.6 million in 2024.
