Summa began the “Caring for You … Then, Now, Always” campaign in 2013. It has raised $60 million so far and only needs to raise an additional $15 million. Rennick Andreoli, the campaign chair, will lead the public phase of the campaign.
The contributions will go toward projects including facilities improvements and physician recruitment.
“I was raised in Akron and am proud to have spent most of my professional life at Summa Health,” said Cliff Deveny, MD, Summa Health president and CEO. “I want to see our region succeed, and having a robust, community-focused health system is essential to that.”
