Palo Alto, Calif.-based Stanford Health Care reported operating income of $436.3 million (5.7% operating margin) through the third quarter of fiscal 2026, up from operating income of $393 million (5.5% margin) during the same period last year, according to its July 10 financial report.
The system’s total operating revenue and other support was $7.6 billion for the nine months ended May 31, compared to $7.1 billion during the same period last year. Net patient service revenue was $7.4 billion, up from $6.9 billion.
Total operating expenses were $7.2 billion through Q3 2026, up from $6.7 billion during the same period last year. Salaries and benefits totaled $3.4 billion, up from $3.2 billion. Purchased services totaled $1.8 billion, up from $1.7 billion. Supplies totaled $1.24 billion, up from $1.17 billion.
Net income totaled $1.3 billion through Q3 2026, up from $829.2 million during the same period last year.
