Lawmakers agreed to use other state funds to make the Medicaid cuts smaller initially, but Medicaid cuts of more than $404 million would be enforced in future years, according to the report.
In December, Florida Gov. Rick Scott said the state’s 2012-2013 budget would include roughly $2 billion in Medicaid cuts across the entire healthcare spectrum.
