Shriners Hospitals for Children Brings 20 Hospitals, 200 Physicians to Cigna’s Network

Tampa, Fla.-based Shriners Hospitals for Children and health insurer Cigna have struck a deal that adds all 20 of Shriners’ hospitals and 200 employed physicians across the country to the Cigna network.

The two-year contract, which went into effect June 1, allows Cigna customers to be covered at any Shriners’ children hospital at in-network rates.

Shriners Hospitals for Children focuses on caring for children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate.
