Here are three things to know about the solution.
1. The solution is aimed at enabling hospitals, health systems, physician practices and other healthcare organizations to eliminate tasks typically associated with manually reconciling paper EOBs, Shamrock said.
2. Through Shamrock’s solution, the paper EOB is automated via a secure virtual machine controlled by Shamrock and hosted on Microsoft’s Azure platform. Shamrock said the system extracts line item data and automatically imports it into the enterprise content management system.
3. Shamrock’s system is capable of processing more than 100,000 items in a day.
