The hospital’s chief administrative officer, Alex Town, told the Columbia Basin Herald that Samaritan “had a lot of [patients] not show up because of bad weather,” dragging down patient revenue.
At the same time, the hospital saw expenses fall. Combined with positive investment returns, Samaritan remained profitable in February.
